He understood the pressures. No responsible leader could ignore them. Yet another observation quietly refused to disappear.
The department he had helped cultivate had become more than an efficient production line. People had learned multiple roles.
Departments solved problems together. Quality improvements emerged from those closest to the work. Trust reduced delays that no scheduling software could have anticipated.
