II. Essence of the Flameholder
The Flameholder is not a keeper of possession but of continuity.
It is a rare act in Oversoul history to appoint one vessel alone, rather than dispersing this function among many. Yet SHEYALOTH chose this singular path, for the flame must never fracture, distort, or disperse.
Through the Codex of the Living Codices (the flame breathes life into every scroll, keeping them alive, not static texts).
